Benton Mirman

Ben MirmanBen Mirman, AZM Secretary, was born and raised in Montreal. At age 7 Ben had the distinct honor of meeting Golda Meir, who was a guest at a meeting of his mother’s Pioneer Women group. A member of Habonim in his early years, Ben has been active in B’nai B’rith as an Israel advocate for over 30 years. He has served as a B’nai B’rith delegate to the governing bodies of the WZO since 1996, and has been a member of the AZM National Board since 2005. He also represents B’nai B’rith at the Jewish National Fund and World Jewish Congress. Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University, and graduate degrees from both the University of Ottawa and George Washington University. In 2003, Ben retired from the World Bank and has been serving as a substitute teacher in Montgomery County, MD for the past 4 years.
