Emerging PICZ Projects
For six weeks of last summer, more than a dozen PICZ fellows and interns gathered in Jerusalem for creation and collaboration. Modeled after hi-tech incubators, the PICZ environment incorporates enirching programming, prominent speakers and interdisciplinary cooperation in order to instill courage and a commitment to bold action. Twelve creative projects emerged from the Institute, which the fellows have continued to develop. They include:

Matt Bar - Bible Raps

The Bible Raps Project, founded by Matt Bar during the course of PICZ, has become a Jerusalem sensation. Matt is currently fielding requests from educators around the Jewish World to bring the Bible Raps to their schools, camps, and congregations. Through the PresenTense network Matt obtained his first funding, access to a recording studio, connections to Pardes and Masa, and ongoing support. As he raps forward, Matt is already becoming a major force for Jewish youth engagement. | Read on
