World Solidarity DayOctober 30, 2007Over 50 communities in the United States and 80 around the world hosted student-led events for World Solidarity Day, an initiative of the World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency for Israel. These photos were taken at World Solidarity Day in New York, where one thousand students gathered in front of the United Nations in a rally on behalf of all of the abducted Israeli soldiers organized by the American Zionist Movement and the Jewish Community Relations Council. The rally attracted high school and college students, local government officials and Jewish leaders. |
