Subj:      Thank You for Your Leadership

We are writing to thank you for your participation in the 2017 AZM Assembly and to express our appreciation to all who assisted in the planning, panels and program.  The program has received excellent reviews thus far.  We discussed important issues, concepts and approaches to the difficult challenges facing Israel, the Jewish people and Zionism today.

In the near future we will be sending to you a short-form Feedback form for you to complete either online or to return to us (anonymous if you wish) so we can continue to strengthen our Assembly and Activities planning in the future.

The AZM Board has approved a wide outreach in the spirit of a “Call for Leadership” inviting each of you, your organizations and your members to advise us of interest in serving in various leadership functions with the AZM. Please note that one need not be a Board member to serve on a committee. Some of you have already been designated or elected to serve on the Board, but certain organizations have not yet designated their representatives.  Please do so as soon as possible. In addition, as recommended in the Strategic Plan and in the recently amended AZM Constitution, the Biennial Assembly elected four AZM Vice Presidents, each holding specific portfolios (Programming, WZO Relations, Inter-Organizational Relations and Financial Resource Development). We invite you to indicate your interest in serving on an AZM Committee covering one of these areas, or listing another area of interest.

We have posted online the digital journal from the March 5, Celebratory Dinner.  You can access them here: https://www.azm.org/azm-honors-karen-rubinstein-40-years-service

We are also providing links to the Strategic Plan, the presentation, and a related article by Professor Passig on a page of resources from the Biennial.  It can be found at the Assembly resources page.  Photos and Video from the Assembly will be posted in the coming days.
