Celebrate Purim with Mercaz USA

Bring a Smile to a Child’s Face – Construct Build a Bridge to an IDF Soldier – Develop a Connection to Masorti Communities

January 2013

Dear MERCAZ Friend,

A cease fire is in place in Israel’s south after the recent round of missile attacks from Gaza.  An uneasy quiet has enveloped the region. Children in the south have returned to their schools; but the psychological impact of the rockets and terror remains.  Soldiers have gone back to their bases, but the order to return to the battlefield could be given at any time.

Wouldn’t you like to do something special this Purim? We invite you to make a donation to help cover the cost of traditional mishloach manot Purim baskets filled with sweets and other gift items. Even a small donation will help a young child or a lonely soldier feel cared for and remembered.

You can make your presence felt in Israel, where our people need you most.  Give light, gladness, joy and honor to the children and soldiers from the Masorti Congregations in Israel’s southern region, including Masorti Lone Soldiers, the Neve Hanna Children’s Village in Kiryat Gat, Netzach Israel in Ashkelon, Etz Haim in Ashdod and Eshel Avraham in Be’er Sheva.

Please scroll down and select the level of contribution with which you are comfortable. Once the amount is added to your “shopping cart”, you will have the option to pay online with a credit card or to print out a form and mail AZM your check.  All donations are tax deductible.

Your mishloach manot gift will tell an Israeli soldier or child that you care. It’s a gesture that will long be remembered. We ask that donations be received no later than February 22, 2013.  Please don’t delay!
